Salt-N-Pepa performed on the ‘Today Show’ in 2016. Salt-N-Pepa is a group that formed in 1985. The group included Group members included Salt (Cheryl James), Pepa (Sandra Denton), and DJ Spinderella (Deidra Roper). Their hit single ‘Push It’ in 1987. They’re one of the best-selling rap acts of all time. The group won the 1995 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group and have also been nominated a number of other times. She sued the duo for alleged unpaid royalties in July 2019, as well as multiple breaches of contract, fraud, and intentional misrepresentation.
